- Go Sliding on 2-4 different places right around the house - children and and some pretty steep adult slopes.
- Go skating at local skating rink.

- Cross-country skiing at the Massif du Sud.
- Downhill skiing at the Massif du Sud.
- Downhill skiing in the Quebec city area 40min to 2 hr drive depending on hill chosen and weather.

- Watch out the patio door as a winter storm strikes the house with its full furry. Makes you wonder how anybody survived back in the heydays.
